Penang in Pictures Part 1

Wow, we have got just a tonne of pictures from traveling, eating and just generally pointing our cameras at things. If you're traveling Penang or thinking of traveling here, we hope this helps you get an idea of interesting things to see and do during your trip in George Town and Penang. Since we're rather curious and intrepid travelers, occasionally we'll also include some other destinations in this series. But for now, enjoy Part 1 of Penang in Pictures!

George Town, Penang

This shot is from the Tokong Kuan Im or Kuan Yin Shrine in the middle of George Town. It's right along harmony street and an important part of the Taoist Buddhist life and community here.

If you've heard of Penang's street art, then you're definitely familiar with Armenian Street/Lebuh Armenian. Many people come here to line up for their perfect Instagram shot with our street art. But there's so much more to Lebuh Armenian than a 5 minute pit-stop. There's real history here, and it's still a bustling centre of commerce, art and culture.
